RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
2014 Sanitary Sewer &Storm Sewer Cleaning &Televising
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires that the 2014 Sanitary Sewer&Storm Sewer Cleaning
&Televising project, be completed; and
WHEREAS, the Village seeks to utilize the construction firm of Hydro-Vision Technology for such
work; and
WHEREAS, Hydro-Vision Technology submitted a low bid for such work in the amount of
$69,768.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the Contract
with Hydro-Vision Technology is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 8th day of September,
2014.

Listed below and on the attached'Tabulation of Bids", please find the results of the August 29, 2014,
bid opening for the above-captioned project. Three(3)bids were received and checked for accuracy.
A summary is as follows:
Hydro-Vision Technology $ 69,768.00
National Power Rodding 154.562.80
United Septic 169.580.80
Engineer's Estimate $ 65,913.80
The low bid submitted by Hydro-Vision Technology, in the amount of $69,768.00, is $3,854.20
(5.85%)above the Engineer's Estimate of$69,768.00. The bid includes both the Village sanitary
sewer cleaning work, as well as the cleaning and televising of the storm sewers in the Glens of
Connemara.
Hydro-Vision Technology is qualified to perform this type of work. We, therefore, recommend that
the Contract be awarded to Hydro-Vision Technology, LLC, 1593 Aster Drive, Romeoville, IL
60446, in the amount of$69,768.00.
