RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
Smith Farms Subdivision Street Lighting Modifications
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires that the Smith Farms Subdivision Street Lighting
Modifications project be completed; and
WHEREAS, the Village seeks to utilize the construction firm of RAG's Electric Company for such
work; and
WHEREAS, RAG's Electric Company submitted a low bid for such work in the amount of
$11,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the Contract
with RAG's Electric Company is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 101h day of June, 2013.

Dear Ben:
Listed below and on the attached "Bid Tabulation ", please find the results of
the May 29, 2013 bid opening for the above - captioned project. One (1) bid
was received and tabulated, with no errors being found. A summary is as
follows:
RAG's Electric Company ........................ $ 11,000.00
Engineer's Estimate .. ............................... $ 17,700.00
The low bid submitted by RAG's Electric Company, in the amount of
$11,000.00, is $6,700.00 (37.85 %) below the Engineer's Estimate of
$17,700.00. RAG's Electric Company has satisfactorily performed this type
of work in the Village previously. We, therefore, recommend that the
Contract be awarded to RAG's Electric Company, 1644 Bluff Road, Lemont,
IL 60439 in the amount of $11,000.00.
