RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
2013 SANITARY SEWER CLEANING & TELEVISING
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires that the 2013 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning & Televising
project be completed; and
WHEREAS, the Village seeks to utilize the construction firm of United Septic, Inc. for such work;
and
WHEREAS, United Septic, Inc. submitted a low bid for such work in the amount of $51,289.70.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the Contract
with United Septic, Inc. is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 13"' day of May, 2013.

Listed below and on the attached "Bid Tabulation ", please find the results of the rebid for the above -
referenced project, as bid at 10:00 a.m., on April 30, 2013. Five (5) bids were received and
tabulated, with no errors found. A summary is as follows:

Engineers Estimate ........................... ............................... $ 50,922.85
The low bid submitted by United Septic, in the amount of $51,289.70, is $366.85 (0.72 %) above the
Engineers Estimate of $50,922.85. United Septic performed the work on the Village's 2011 and
2012 Sanitary Sewer Cleaning & Televising projects, and their performance and workmanship were
found to meet the Contract specifications. We therefore recommend that the Contract be awarded
to United Septic, Inc., 1327 W. Beecher Road, Bristol, IL 60512, in the amount of $51,289.70.
