A Resolution Authorizing the Village Administrator to Execute a Purchase Agreement for
a 2012 Chevy Tahoe Pursuit Vehicle
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont Police K -9 unit is in need to be replaced; and,
WHEREAS, the Village has sufficient funds in the segregated forfeiture funds and trade
in value to pay for said vehicle; and,
WHEREAS, said vehicle is available under state contract.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Lemont as follows:
SECTION ONE: The Village Board finds that it is necessary, convenient and in the
interest of the Village purchase a 2012 Chevy Tahoe Pursuit Vehicle.
SECTION TWO: The Village Administrator is hereby authorized to execute said
agreement.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DUPAGE,
ILLINOIS on this 24th day of September, 2012.
