R-70-03 Approving Plat Of Dedication By The Village Of Lemont To Cook County For 127th Street Road ImprovementsRESOLUTION
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT OF DEDICATION
BY THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT TO COOK COUNTY
FOR 127TH STREET ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont and Cook County entered into a Local Agency
Agreement concerning the reconstruction of 127th Street between Smith Road and Archer
Avenue, and
WHEREAS, additional rights -of -way are necessary to accommodate said construction
project, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont is one of the property owners on 127th Street that
additional dedication is required, and
WHEREAS, a plat of dedication has been prepared, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" for
property legally described therein, and
WHEREAS, said dedication will provide necessary right -of -way for the planned
reconstruction of 127th Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the
Plat of Dedication to Cook County attached hereto be hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DUPAGE,
ILLINOIS, on this 22nd day of September , 2003.
