RESOLUTION APPROVING
DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, Downtown Lemont, INC. has undertaken the preparation of a
master plan to provide for an overall enhancement design for historic Downtown Lemont;
and
WHEREAS, The master plan is attached as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, The said plan is a concept plan relevant to Downtown Lemont,
which Downtown Lemont, INC. engaged the services of Teska Associates, INC. to
provide technical assistance to Downtown Lemont, INC.; and
WHEREAS, Downtown Lemont, INC. has held public meetings and sent certified
mail to inform the public on this concept plan; and
WHEREAS, The phasing and financing of the implementation of this master plan
shall be evaluated annually as part of the Village budget process.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the master plan for historic
Downtown Lemont be approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COOK, WILL, AND DU PAGE
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, on this a5c day of , 1994.
