RESOLUTION OO
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE TREASURER
TO CLOSE UNNEEDED CHECKING, MONEY MARKET AND NOW ACCOUNTS
WHEREAS, due to improved procedures and computerization a number of checking
accounts, NOW accounts, and money market accounts are no longer necessary to conduct
Village business; and
WHEREAS, this action will result in more efficient cash management and will
increase the percentage of funds earning interest; and
WHEREAS, such accounts would be eliminated within the next thirty (30) days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees
authorize the closure of the financial accounts attached within the next thirty (30) days.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESDIENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DU PAGE, ILLINOIS
