R-155-86 A Resolution Regarding Industrial Real Estate Tax IncentiveRESOLUTION # /55- A RESOLUTION REGARDING INDUSTRIAL REAL ESTATE TAX INCENTIVE FOR CERTAIN REAL ESTATE IN THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Michael P. Dudek, Anna C. Dudek, Donald R. Dudek and Kathleen M. Dudek currently own real estate within the Village of Lemont which is zoned for manufacturing; and WHEREAS, said owners intend to construct and lease new industrial buildings on said real estate; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Class 6b of the Cook County Real Estate Property Assessment Classification Ordinance as amended October 1, 1984 (the "Cook County Ordinance "), said owners may be entitled to incentive benefits with respect to real estate tax assessment, if said industrial buildings are used for manufacturing; and WHEREAS, the Owners have made application to the Assessor of Cook County, Illinois for classification under said Class 6b of the Cook County Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont are in the opinion that if the new facilities are to be used for manu- facturing, then said real estate is appropriate for receipt of Class 6b classification and the real estate tax incentive benefits pursuant to the Cook County Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont, Cook County, Illinois as follows: SECTION 1: That the preambles of this Ordinance be, and the same hereby are incorporated herein by this reference as is set out herein in full. r SECTION 2: That the application of Michael P. Dudek, Anna C. Dudek, Donald R. Dudek and Kathleen M. Dudek for real estate tax incentive benefits pursuant to Class 6b.of the Cook County Ordinance is hereby deemed appropriate for such benefits if said real estate is used for manufacturing, as defined by the Cook County Ordinance. SECTION 3: That the foregoing relates to the following described real estate: That part of Lot 6 in County Clerk's Division of Section 19, being the East 460 feet lying North of the North line of the G.M..& 0. Railroad (formerly the Chicago and Alton Railroad Company) and South of a line 91 feet South of and parallel to the South Channel of the Illinois and Michigan Canal; and also that part of Lot 6 in County Clerk's Division of Section 20 lying North of the North line of said G.M. & 0. Railroad and South of aline 91 feet South of parallel to said Illinois and Michigan Canal, all in Township 37 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Subject to: Covenants, conditions and restrictions of record; public and utility easements and roads and highways, if any. Further identified by Permanent Index No. 22 -19- 400 -011 and No. 22 -20- 301 -002. SECTION 4: That the Village Clerk forthwith transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the Office of the Assessor of Cook County, Illinois, to said owners of the real estate, and to such other parties in interest as required by law.
