PROCLAMATION OF A LOCAL DISASTER /EMERGENCY
Upon authority of Chapter 127, Section 1113 of the Illinois
Revised Statutes, I, Joseph S. Forzley, Mayor, Village of
Lemont, County of Cook, upon recommendation of the Coordinator
of the Lemont Emergency Services and Disaster Agency, do
hereby proclaim that a disaster emergency exists in the
County of Cook due to the following reasons:
Tornado touched down in the Village of Lemont
causing severe damage in a widespread area.
Chris Enskat, Coordinator of the Local Emergency Services
and Disaster Agency is ordered to proceed with all haste to
bring the said disaster to a rapid conclusion for the best
interest of the residents of Lemont pursuant to the Illinois
Emergency Services and Disaster Operations Act of 1988, as
amended, and the Lemont Emergency Services and Disaster Act.
This proclamation is effective from
and shall expire April 3, 1991
the Lemont Village Board.
