RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF A PERMIT
FOR UTILITY EXTENSION ACROSS I -355 TOLL HIGHWAY
RIGHT -OF -WAY
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont seeks to extend water and sewer utilities to the territory west
of the proposed I -355 North -South Toliway; and
WHEREAS, such a request requires the issuance of a permit by the Illinois State Toll Highway
Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Village President and Village Clerk are
authorized to execute utility extension permits for the following:
A). Installation and operation of a 12 inch watermain along 127th Street from west of
Timberline Drive to the west end of Tollway land on 127th Street.
B). Installation and operation of a public sanitary sewer under the North -South
Toliway along Dowdell Drive, north of 127th Street.
C). Installation and operation of a public sanitary sewer under the North -South
Tollway south of New Avenue at approximately Station 597.
