DATE OF APPROVAL: December 8, 1997
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT
FOR MULTICARE RESUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the petitioner is the owner of certain property consisting of approximately 10
acres generally located at the southeast corner of McCarthy Road and Walker Road in Lemont,
Illinois and legally described in Exhibit "A" attached; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has prepared a Plat of Resubdivision for the subject property,
which is known as Multicare Resubdivision; and
WHEREAS the petitioner has submitted the Plat of Resubdivision for a 9 lot Plat to be
known as Multicare Resubdivision, attached hereto as Exhibit "B "; and
WHEREAS, the Lemont Planning & Zoning Commission at its meeting of August 5, 1997,
reviewed the Plat and recommended approval of said Plat; and
WHEREAS, the Plat of Resubdivision is in substantial conformance with the physical
development policies and standards of the Village of Lemont.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Lemont that the Plat for Multicare Resubdivision, which is attached hereto and made part
hereof, is hereby approved with a variance to the Subdivision Standards to permit a roadway
curvature of 116 feet in lieu of the 200 foot minimum and a variance to permit a tangent of 20 feet
between vertical curves instead of the minimum required 50 feet, and subject to the following:
The developer shall construct the Walker Road extension if the Village requires a right -of -way
dedication prior to January 11, 1998. If the right -of -way is not required by this date, cash -in-
lieu of the roadway shall be put into an escrow account for the future roadway construction.
