RESOLUTION APPROVING VILLAGE OF LEMONT
BASIC DISASTER PREPAREDNESS PLAN
2001 UPDATE
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has completed a review and revised the Basic Disaster
Preparedness Plan adopted in 1993; and
WHEREAS, the Basic Disaster Preparedness Plan outlines procedures to be followed by
Lemont Emergency Management Agency, Village officials, departments and agencies in the event
of a disaster; and
WHEREAS, a sound Disaster Preparedness Plan is critical in any disaster effort.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Basic Disaster Preparedness Plan,
2001 Update attached hereto is hereby approved and adopted.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DU PAGE, ILLI NOIS
