R-08-10 - Authorizing Appointment of IRMA DelegatesRESOLUTION
RESOLUTION APPOINTING GEORGE J. SCHAFER AS DELEGATE AND
BENJAMIN P. WEHMEIER AS ALTERNATE DELEGATE
TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont adopted the Contract and By -Laws of the Intergovernmental
Risk Management Agency by Ordinance and thereby became a member of said cooperative; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that member units of local governmental shall by majority vote
of its corporate authorities select one (1) person to represent that body on the Board of Directors of said
Intergovernmental Agency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CORPORATE AUTHORITIES, of the
Village of Lemont, Cook, Will and DuPage Counties, Illinois, that George J. Schafer, Assistant Village
Administrator, of the Village of Lemont is hereby appointed to represent the Village of Lemont on the Board
of Directors of said Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Benjamin P. Wehmeier, Administrator of the Village of
Lemont is hereby appointed as the alternative representative to serve if George J. Schafer - Delegate is unable
to carry out his aforesaid duties as the representative of the Village of Lemont to said Intergovernmental Risk
Management Agency.

VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COOK, WILL AND DU PAGE COUNTIES, IL on this 25' day of
January ,2010.
