RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RELEASE
OF LETTER -OF- CREDIT
FOR HINDU TEMPLE OF GREATER CHICAGO
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Subdivision Regulations, an owner or developer of a
development is required to deposit certain security or evidence thereof with the Village of
Lemont to guarantee the installation of such improvements; and
WHEREAS, in the matter of the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, located at 10915
Lemont Road, an Irrevocable Letter -of- Credit #01 -08 -30-02 issued. at Midwest Bank of
Hinsdale in the amount of $50,000.00 was deposited with the Village of Lemont on August 30,
2001 for the purpose of guaranteeing the extension of water and sanitary sewer improvements to
the subject property, pursuant to an agreement with Citizens Utility Company, now known as
Illinois- American Water Company; and
WHEREAS, Hari Datt Sharma has made application for the release of the Irrevocable
Letter -of- Credit #01- 08- 30 -02; and
WHEREAS, a duly authorized agent of the Village of Lemont has verified the
improvements have been satisfactorily installed and are now in service;
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Lemont that:
SECTION l; Water and sanitary sewer work covered under Letter -of- Credit #01 -08-
30-02 has been satisfactorily completed.
SECTION 2: The Irrevocable Letter -of -Credit #01 -08 -30-02 is hereby released.
NOW,'1IIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Lemont that the Irrevocable Letter of Credit 01- 08 -30 -02 for Hindu Temple of
Greater Chicago is hereby released.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND
DUPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 9th day of December, 2002.
