R-10-07 01/22/2007VILLAGE OF LEMONT RESOLUTION No. R , 1 o 7 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR THE DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDING LOCATED AT 306 MAIN STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT THIS 22ND DAY OF JANUARY, 2007 PUBLISHED IN PAMPHLET FORM BY AUTHORITY OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS, THIS 22ND DAY OF JANUARY, 2007. VILLAGE OF LE NT RESOLUTION NO. • 11)-07 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR THE DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDING LOCATED AT 306 MAIN STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT WHEREAS, Lemont National Bank is the owner of certain property located at 306 Main Street in the Village of Lemont and legally described in Exhibit "A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, this property at 306 Main Street is occupied by one two -story building, and the Lemont National Bank applied for a Certificate of Appropriateness to demolish this building and replace it with a landscaped parking area; and WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission conducted a public hearing on said application for a Certificate of Appropriateness on November 9, 2006, and voted to deny the application; and WHEREAS, the Lemont National Bank appeals the decision of the Historic Preservation Commission to the President and Board of Trustees; and WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees find it in the best interests of the Village of Lemont to allow the demolition of the building, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont that said appeal is granted and a Certificate of Appropriateness for the demolition of the building located 306 Main Street is hereby granted subject to the following condition: 1. The building shall be replaced with a landscaped parking area in conformance with all Village ordinances and resolutions and in general compliance with the proposed site plan, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "B ".. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DUPAGE, ILLINOIS, ON THIS 22 "D DAY OF JANUARY, 2007.
