RESOLUTION
A RESOULTION AUTHORIZING AN EASEMENT FOR NICOR ON
RIVER STREET, LEMONT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont finds it necessary for purposes of providing
utilities to 230 River and 340 River to grant an easement on Village Property to NICOR
gas for purposes of providing these services.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Lemont that the Village President is authorized to execute the Grant of
Easement to NICOR Gas, attached hereto as exhibit A.

TO NICOR GAS
The Grantor, VILLAGE OF LEMONT, BY AND THROUGH IT'S DULY AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE, its successors, assigns, heirs, administrators and executors, in
consideration of the sum of Ten and 00 /100 Dollars ($10.00) and other good and valuable
considerations, in hand paid by NORTHERN ILLINOIS GAS COMPANY, an Illinois
corporation, doing business as NICOR GAS, (the sufficiency thereof and receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged) does hereby give and grant unto said NICOR GAS, its successors and
assigns, a perpetual, non - exclusive easement and right -of -way for the purpose of laying,
maintaining, operating, renewing, replacing and removing gas mains and any necessary facilities
appurtenant thereto, in, upon, under, along and across the following described property, situated
in Cook County, Illinois:
A ten foot easement running generally East and West, running along the South side of the
Proposed River Street extension, said easement's North boundary being ten feet South of and
parallel with the Centerline of the Proposed River Street on Grantor's Property. See attached
Exhibit A for legal Description of Grantor's property, said easement together with reasonable
right of access thereto for said purposes.
Grantor reserves the right to use the easement property in any manner not inconsistent with the
rights granted herein.
