A RESOLUTION SELECTING THE
I &M CANAL NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR
CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU AS
LEMONT'S AGENCY OF RECORD FOR TOURISM PROMOTIONS
FOR THE PERIOD MAY, 2004 THROUGH APRIL 2005
WHEREAS, Lemont seeks to affiliate with a regional tourism and convention bureau to assist in the promotion
and advertising of the community; and
WHEREAS, Such affiliation will encourage further retail, commercial, and business success in the downtown
area and the community as a whole.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COOK , WILL & DU PAGE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS that the
Village of Lemont selects the I &M Canal National Heritage Corridor Convention & Visitors Bureau as the agency of
record for tourism promotions for the period May, 2004 through April 2005.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COOK, WILL AND DU PAGE COUNTIES ILLINOIS on this 2b,
