RESOLUTION APPROVING VILLAGE OF LEMONT
EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN
2004 UPDATE
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has completed a review and revised the Emergency
Operations Plan first adopted in1993; and
WHEREAS, the Emergency Operations Plan complies with Homeland Security mandates
and the Illinois Emergency Management Agency requirements for certification, and outlines
procedures to be followed by Lemont Emergency Management Agency, Village officials, Township
officials, departments and agencies in the event of a disaster; and
WHEREAS, a sound Emergency Operations Plan is critical in any disaster effort.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Emergency Operations Plan, 2004
Update, attached hereto is hereby approved and adopted.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL, AND DU PAGE, ILLI NOIS
on this 8th day of March 2004.
