RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE SENON DRIVE OVERFLOW STORM SEWER PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires that the Senon Drive Overflow Storm Sewer
project be completed; and
WHEREAS, the Village seeks to utilize the construction firm of Unique Plumbing Company,
Inc. for such work; and
WHEREAS, Unique Plumbing Company, Inc. submitted a low bid for such work in the
amount of $33,730.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the
Contract with Unique Plumbing Company, Inc. is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this
le"' day of Aprit 2004.

Dear Gary:
Listed below and on the attached "Bid Tabulation ", please find the results of the bid opening for the
above - captioned project, as bid on April 20, 2004 @ 10:00 am. Four (4) bids were received and
tabulated, with errors being found in one bid that did not affect the bidding order. This project
consists of the installation of 150 -feet of 36 -inch storm sewer across Senon Drive in the Hirsekorn
Ridge Subdivision, in order to provide supplemental drainage relief, to those homes upstream of
Senon Drive.
Unique Plumbing Company $ 33,730.00
Construction by Cameo 38,073.00
Riccio Construction Corp. 38,890.00
Kovilic Construction Company 55,600.00
Engineer's Estimate $ 37,370.00
The low bid submitted by Unique Plumbing Company, in the amount of $33,730.00, is $3,640.00
(9.74 %) below the Engineer's Estimate of $37,370.00, and within the budget established for this
project. Since Unique Plumbing Company is qualified to perform this type of work, we therefore
recommend that the Contract be awarded to Unique Plumbing Company, 9408 West 47th Street,
Brookfield, IL 60513, in the amount of $33,730.00.
