R-66-04 09/27/2004RESOLUTION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE SINGER AVENUE SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT: CUSTER AVENUE TO LOGAN AVENUE WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont requires additional services related to the construction of the Logan / Warner/ Singer Paving Improvements, which new portion is Singer Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement, from Custer Avenue to Logan Avenue; WHEREAS, the Village awarded a Contract for said construction work to Riccio Construction Corp., who submitted the low bid in the amount of $861,882.05; and WHEREAS, the additional work for the Singer Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement was not anticipated at the time of the original bid, which necessitates a Change Order No. 1, in the total net addition of $30,156.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees that the Change Order No. 1, in the amount of an addition of $30,156.00 be hereby approved.
