RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1
FOR THE TALCOTT AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Village of Lemont has awarded a Contract to Abbey Paving and Sealcoating
Company, Inc. for the reconstruction of Talcott Avenue, and
WHEREAS, said reconstruction work and appurtenant ComEd utility burial work necessitates the
modification of electrical services for residential and business customers from overhead to
underground, a Change Order No. 1 is required;
WHEREAS, the additional work that is required was not contemplated at the time of the original
Contract award; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lemont
that the Change Order No. 1, in the not -to- exceed amount of $67,725.00 to Abbey Paving &
Sealcoating Company, attached hereto is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
LEMONT, COUNTIES OF COOK, WILL AND DuPAGE, ILLINOIS, on this 28th day of June, 2010.
